We've been here one month now, and I finally got the spare bedrooms sorted out. They're not perfect, but you can actually walk into them now with all the random furniture put away.

We also have a pretty exciting plan for our master bedroom that involves switching the master bathroom with the closet. The layout will work much better, and it’ll create a bigger bathroom and a walk-in closet…!

Since moving to our new place, I'm amazed at how well Daisy is doing. She adjusted much faster than I thought she would. The first couple of mornings she woke up in bed trembling, but soon calmed down once we were up and walking about in the house. It's weird but all of her bad habits seemed to have disappeared. She doesn't hide under the chair in the living room, or growl and be possessive over her favourite spots. I now keep her food in the eating area instead of the living room like before (it started out in there from convenience, since she was such a tiny puppy, but then it became a permanent fixture). It's been a great opportunity to start some new habits and they've been working out wonderfully. Combining that with lots more exercise, and she’s a much more balanced gal!

Here are some fun photos from the last week:

Driving our manual truck for the first time... I've never learned how to drive a manual, so it was very different. Let's just say I prefer automatic!
